I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Workforce Center of Will County to host Job Fair on February 19

The Workforce Center of Will County will host a job fair from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on. Weds. Feb. 19 at its location in Suite 100, 2400 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet.

“The Workforce Center staff does an excellent job of offering job and training opportunities for our residents,” said Will County Executive Larry Walsh. “Anyone looking for a job is sure to find the assistance they need here.”

Positions available include machine operator, material handler/warehouse associate, reach truck drivers, assemblers, general laborers, packers, CNC operator, forklift operator, HVAC assembler, machine operator, maintenance mechanic, packaging helper, cashier, EVS cleaner, luggage service attendant, room attendant, security officer, sous chef, special cook, call center operator, customer service representative, packaging general helper, human resource specialist, census takers, cable and internet box assembler, general laborers, material handlers, pickers/packers, auditors, machine operators, maintenance technicians, and many more. Job seekers are encouraged to bring a resume, dress professionally and be ready for an interview.

Will County 9-1-1 ETSB Committee Meetings - 9 a.m.

The Will County 9-1-1 Emergency System Board will hold regular meetings at 9:00 am on the on the following dates in year 2021. All meetings will be held at the Will County Office Building - 2nd Flr. Board Room, 302 N. Chicago Street, Joliet.
