Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant Will County Executive

I am honored to serve as your Will County Executive. As a lifelong resident of this great county, I have witnessed many changes as we have evolved from an ag-community to a major hub in the global distribution market.  I am dedicated to building upon this status but I am equally dedicated to maintaining the quality of life for the nearly 700,000 residents and thousands of businesses and organizations that call Will County home.

Mobile Workforce Center July schedule released

Mobile Workforce Center July schedule released

WILL COUNTY – The July schedule for the Workforce Services Division of Will County Mobile Workforce Center offers seven stops weekly.

The mobile unit travels throughout Will County to help residents with resume development, cover letters and job applications. The workforce center contains 11 computer stations, internet access, and offers keyboarding lessons, as well as resume and job search assistance using online listings including jobs4people.org and Illinois workNet.

MWC will be at Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook, from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Mondays, except July 5, in recognition of the Fourth of July.

On Tuesdays, the mobile unit will be at Crete Public Library, 1177 Main St., Crete, from 9:30 a.m. to noon.  From 1 to 3:30 p.m. it will be at University Park Village Hall, 44 Town Center Drive, University Park.

Wednesdays will find MWC at the Plainfield Public Library, 15025 S. Illinois St., Plainfield, from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Wilmington Public Library District, 201 S. Kankakee St., Wilmington, will host MWC from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. every Thursday.

On Fridays, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, MWC will be at Frankfort Public Library District, 21119 S. Pfeiffer Road, Frankfort. From 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. it will be at Mokena Community Public Library District, 11327 W. 195th St., Mokena.

Face coverings are required to utilize the Mobile Workforce Center.

Job search workshops offered at the Workforce Center of Will County are broadcast to the Mobile Workforce Center via Facebook Live. For a complete listing of broadcasts or for more information about Workforce Services Division of Will County, call (815) 727-4444 or visit jobs4people.org.
