PEOTONE – The Workforce Center of Will County and Kankakee Workforce Services will host a job fair from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 18, at Peotone High School, 605 W. North St.
Among the positions available are CNC operators, manual machine operators, assemblers, general laborers, pickers/packers, forklift operators, CDL A driver, equipment maintenance technician, garage technician, warehouse material handler, mold and radon mitigation laborer, package machine operators, shift supervisor, general production labor, route sales representatives, press brake operator, receiving clerk, stockroom supervisor, tool and die maker, material handlers, bus operators, mechanics,
Also, direct support personnel, correctional officer, corrections food service supervisor, corrections nurse, corrections social worker, corrections treatment officer, electrician specialist, team lead, winder operators, home aides, warehouse workers, independent living coach, program specialist, summer social staff, team leader, commercialization project manager, production employees, production manager, production supervisor, quality assurance supervisor, quality assurance technician, sanitation technician, supply chain administrator, census taker, logistics clerk and P/T IT associate.
WCWC Manager Susan Flessner said the event allows job seekers to meet with several employers at once.
“Someone looking for a job can make many contacts in one day and employers are able to interview people on the spot,” she said.
Will County Executive Larry Walsh encourages job seekers to be prepared to take advantage of the event.
“Susan Flessner and her staff work hard to organize these job fairs that bring multiple employers to one location at one time,” said Walsh. “Once again, they are connecting businesses to job seekers in another Will County community.”
