Be Counted because Everyone Counts!!

Local leaders joined members of the Joliet and Will County U.S. Census Committee and drove through neighborhoods on the East Side of Joliet encouraging people to complete the 2020 U.S. Census.

The Census is critical in determining fair representation in the United States Congress, obtaining equitable federal funding, and also important to attract future development to the Joliet/Will County area.

The caravan made started at the Spanish Community Center and a couple of stops urging people to complete the census.

U.S. Congressman Bill Foster (D-11), Will County Executive Denise Winfrey, Will County Board Speaker Mimi Cowan, and County Board member Meta Mueller were part of the caravan to encourage census participation.
