WILL COUNTY – Will County Executive Larry Walsh and the acting Chief Judge David Carlson have announced the closure of all county buildings on Wednesday, Jan. 30, and they will reopen at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31.

“With the predicted record low temperatures, the acting Chief Judge and I have agreed it is wise to close the county buildings on Wednesday to ensure the safety of our employees and our residents” Walsh said. “And we strongly encourage everyone to stay home tomorrow unless it is absolutely necessary.

"The office closings will not affect our around-the-clock operations such as Sunny Hill Nursing Home or the Adult Detention Facility."
