Open House - WCDOT ADA Transition Plan
Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Will County Division of Transportation (WCDOT) invites the public to attend a public meeting and open house for the Americans with Disabilities Act Transition Plan.
The plain aims to ensure that the WCDOT creates accessible paths of travel on roadway right-of-way for people with disabilities. Right-of-way is defined as reserved land for transportation purposes, such as a county highway or pedestrian accommodations. The Transition Plan is limited to highway and pedestrian accommodations in Will County right-of-way and does not include other properties.
WCDOT will be holding two public meetings and open houses, which will begin with a brief presentation and will feature exhibits of county right-of-way:
- Tuesday, Nov. 15, 5 PM – 7 PM – Will County Office Building – 302 N. Chicago St., Joliet IL 60432
- Wednesday, Nov. 16, 5 PM – 7 PM – Crete Public Library – 1177 Main St., Crete, IL 60417
Questions can be directed to the WCDOT at email@example.com or (815) 727-8476.
