Purpose: The purpose of the Partnership is to maintain and improve the economic vitality of Naperville, Illinois through the retention, expansion and attraction of all types of commercial enterprise that are conducive to the maintenance and improvement of the quality of life in Naperville, as more fully described in the Articles of Incorporation.
Authority: The Partnership is an Illinois not-for-profit corporation that is tax exempt pursuant to Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code

Composition: The Board of Directors shall consist of up to forty-two (42) voting Directors composed of (i) up to twelve (12) Governmental Directors, (ii) one (1) Chamber Director, (iii) one (1) Tourism Director, (iv) up to twenty-five (25) Regularly Elected Directors, and (v) up to three (3) Specially Elected Directors, as well as such number of non voting ex-officio Directors as may be appointed from time to time by the Board of Directors, each of whom shall serve for a term of up to one (1) year commencing upon their election and ending on the succeeding 30th day of April.

Notes: The Partnership shall serve Naperville, Illinois and other areas within the City planning limits where economic activities will benefit Naperville.Qualifications: An Elected Director shall be an individual who (i) either resides in Naperville or is employed by a person, entity or organization with an office in Naperville, (ii) supports the purpose and mission of the Partnership, and (iii) commits to contribute such time, knowledge, experiences, expertise, perspectives and/or resources as will benefit the Partnership.
