Job Details

Maintains, documents, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, network, server, software, and computer peripherals. Assists lead infrastructure technician with projects, implementation of custom configurations. Works with other team members to review, monitor, and upgrade existing computer hardware and software programs. Must be capable of a high-level troubleshooting and problem solving with all users. Duties include: System and individual end-user support, Troubleshooting with databases and applications, Configuration of applications based on the needs of the County, Evaluation of current and proposed applications, SQL Database Administration, Patch management of databases and applications, Endpoint system setups and imaging.

Three to Five years on the job experience in either application development, support, or database administration. A bachelor’s degree in a related or appropriate field, such as Computer Science, is preferred. Considerable preference will be given to those with IT-related certifications. Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s license and minimum liability insurance required by law.
