Job SummaryPrimarily responsible for grant accounting which includes analyzing, recording, and reconciling financial transactions related to grants and preparation of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) and the Consolidated Year End Financial Report (CYEFR). This position will be responsible for providing support for grants management in the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (County Finance system). Additional responsibilities include accounting transaction review, cost allocations, reconciliations, assistance with the annual external audit, assistance with internal and external reporting, and any special projects or other accounting activities assigned.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from an accredited college or university. 1-2 years of general accounting experience desired. Experience with state and federal grants is required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications required, along with experience with automated financial systems.
