Job SummaryThis is a recording/data entry/archives clerk position. Inspects documents presented for recording for required information. Compiles and maintains records of activities and transactions, performing a variety of disparate clerical duties including data entry and recording processes, using knowledge of Recorder’s system and procedures. Uses customer service skills to answer questions regarding all services provided by the Recorder’s Office. Must be a self-starter, working well under pressure and time deadlines.
Minimum QualificationsThe qualified individual will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent). Three years experience as a Clerk-Typist or similar background required. Must have Microsoft Office computer skills necessary for an office environment. Real estate, banking, or Title Company background helpful. Excellent customer service skills, good work and attendance record required. A typing test will be administered.
Salary Range$31,801.74 - $58,944.08 (C5 – F3)
