Job SummaryResponsible for supervising, leading, and managing the work of the LCC Telecommunicators. Ensure that procedures are followed and assigned work is completed. Identify the training needs of staff and communicate with the appropriate party. Conduct performance evaluations, coach & counsel employees, recommend discipline as needed. Assign breaks, lunch, daily tasks, and work location for proper staffing. Maintain accurate shift and equipment logs. Report critical issues to oncoming shift.
Minimum QualificationsMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of CAD system, fire service, emergency medical services, and law enforcement telecommunications and radio system operations required. Minimum of 5 years working experience with a public safety communications dispatching agency within the state of Illinois.
