Workforce Center of Will County offers assistance for Amazon hiring event

Residents without access to a computer can visit the center to apply for jobs at Amazon

Amazon is seeking full-time associates for its new Fulfillment Center in Monee. Local residents are encouraged to apply online at FTjobsNow.com. Job seekers without access to a computer or the internet can submit their applications online from 9am until 3pm on Thursday, June 29 at the Workforce Center of Will County, located at 2400 Glenwood Avenue in Joliet.

“I am proud a company with such an international presence as Amazon has found its home in Will County,” said Will County Executive Larry Walsh. “This is an excellent opportunity for residents to find a good job with benefits close to home. I encourage anyone who is seeking employment to take advantage of this opportunity.”

According to Susan Flessner, administrative manager of the Workforce Services Division of Will County, the entire Amazon application process is online, and applicants must have an email address to apply.

“We can assist job seekers with the application process any time during our normal business hours, but we will have additional staff available on June 29 to offer assistance with the online applications and setting up an email address if needed,” Flessner said.
