These measures include being mindful of heat-related illnesses and being aware of the availability of local cooling centers.

The state-of-the-art, 11,460-square-foot facility consolidates the operations of the Will County Coroner’s Office into one location, providing modern, efficient, and expanded operations.

“Diaper Depot Drive” Underway in Will County to Collect Diapers and Essential Items Through July 21

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, State Representative Dagmara “Dee” Avelar, Senator Meg Loughran Cappel, and State Representative Natalie Manley are partnering with United Way of Will County to host a “Diaper Depot Drive” to collect items for local families experiencing hardships. Several collection boxes have been placed throughout the county and donations are accepted until Friday, July 21.

Pop-Up Vaccine Clinic for Dogs to be Hosted in Bolingbrook

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, Bolingbrook Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta, and the K9 Enrichment Initiative invite dog owners to a pop-up pet clinic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 8 at the Bolingbrook Town Center. The appointment-only event, hosted in partnership with Petco Love, will provide free vaccinations, microchipping services, and a pet food pantry.

Will County and City of Joliet Begin Discussions on a Consolidated Government Campus

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and City of Joliet Mayor Terry D’Arcy have partnered together to explore the creation a consolidated government campus for both county and city services. The unified city-county office campus would be located on the site of the vacated Old Courthouse, which is slated for demolition in Fall of 2023.

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant is spotlighting the accomplishments of the Will County Records Management Department, which underwent several turnaround efforts over the last two years under the leadership of Director Jennifer A. Scharf. Scharf will be retiring on Friday, June 23, 2023 after a 18-year career with County government.
