An “extremely humbled” Will County Executive Larry Walsh received the Spirit of Community Caring Award from the Friends of Sunny Hill on Sunday, Oct. 28.

A trio of workshops designed to help job seekers will be offered during Mobile Workforce Center visits in November.

The Workforce Center of Will County November schedule, which includes workshops offered by the Workforce Services Division of Will County, Illinois Department of Employment Security and Joliet Junior College, has been released.

Will County Executive Larry Walsh will be awarded the Spirit of Community Caring Award at the Solid Gold and Glorious 50^th Anniversary Celebration Brunch.

The first group of wheelchairs and those pushing them stepped off at 10 a.m., stopping briefly to mug for a camera before heading out to complete their walk.  

The Mobile Workshop Center will kick off October with a special event at Fountaindale Public Library, 300 W. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook.

The Workforce Center of Will County will present ATS or Bust! as part of its October schedule

 More than 1,000 households participated in the 2018 Sharefest Recyclepalooza in New Lenox on Sept. 8.

Will County residents who have their pets spayed or neutered at participating veterinary offices in September can receive a $40 county-sponsored discount.

The Plainfield and Mokena libraries will host workshops geared toward job seekers during Mobile Workforce Center visits in September.
