Will County Launches Self-Reporting Survey for Storm Damage

The Will County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has launched a damage assessment survey for residents and businesses who have been impacted by the severe weather on July 15. The survey will support the ongoing efforts of damage assessment teams who are visually inspecting damage to personal property, businesses, and public infrastructure throughout the county. 

Will County to Host Fairmont Community Event

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant and the Will County Community Development Division will be hosting a community event from 10 AM to 3 PM on June 22 at the Fairmont Community Center, 525 Barry Avenue. The event will feature family-friendly activities, a resource fair, a food giveaway, and a community planning activity focused on the future of the Fairmont neighborhood.

Will County Executive Issues Juneteenth Proclamation

Will County Executive Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant signed a proclamation today officially recognizing June 19 as Juneteenth Day of Observance in Will County. Juneteenth is a recognized county holiday for Will County government. All county buildings will be closed on the holiday, with the exception of essential county services and public safety operations.

Will County Health Department & Will County Collaborate to Expand TB Testing

The Will County Health Department and Will County’s Sunny Hill Tuberculosis Clinic have announced a new collaboration to expand Tuberculosis (TB) testing availability to Will County residents. The expanded testing services are now available at the Will County Health Department’s branch offices in Monee and Bolingbrook, along with the existing Joliet location at the Will County Health Department’s main office.
