CASA’s 3^rd Annual Trick or Treat Family 5K Run/Walk

Our 3^rd annual 5K took place on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at the Joliet Park District’s Barber & Oberwortmann Horticultural Center & Pilcher Park. What a gorgeous day for a run! Thanks to the more than 100 runners/walkers who participated. We were blessed with beautiful weather, many helpful hands, and many generous donors and sponsors. Through this event, we were able to raise more than $5,000 which helps us to continue our advocacy efforts for abused and neglected children in Will County, Illinois.

Thanks to all who made our "D'Vine Event" a success!

Our D'Vine Event, held Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Joliet Country Club was able to raise nearly $20,000 with approximately 200 people in attendance. The event included appetizers, carving stations, chocolate fountain, silent auction, wine tasting, open bar and music by the band Nova Soul. In addition, wine was available for sale.

All proceeds will be used to recruit, train and supervise volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children.

This event was held on July 8th with approximately 80 riders participating. The first prize raffle winner took home $10,000. Thanks for this year's Will County area organizations participation at stops. Every participant rode away with a prize.
