The permanent HHW Collection Facility is located in Naperville at Fire Station Number Four, 1971 Brookdale Drive. Brookdale Drive intersects Route 59 and the fire station is located on the northeast corner of the road. The map below provides detailed information about the Facility’s location.

The hours for the Facility are Saturday and Sunday from 9-3. The Facility is closed on holidays.

 

Only certain types of materials are accepted at the collection site in Naperville. Waste generated by businesses, institutions, or farms are not accepted. Please review the following lists for what is appropriate and not appropriate.

stains and varnishes fluorescent bulbs
aerosol products pool chemicals
Insecticides thermometers
weed killers thermostats
drain cleaners nail polish/remover
prescription drugs cleaning products
automotive fluids  

 

ammunition medical waste
explosives smoke detectors

lead acid batteries business waste
fire extinguishers agricultural waste
  latex paint

 


The following Will County local governments have entered into a cost-sharing arrangement with the City of Naperville to make this facility available to all county residents:
