Our new site features leading-edge technology and a responsive design that will automatically customize ideal viewing on any smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Redesigning our site provides an open dynamic information highway to Will County government and the great services we provide. Our goal is to fully present the vast variety of services, programs and initiatives the County offers to every resident.

As part of the commitment to keeping our government openly visible as well as responsible, accessible, and accountable to our communities, we have created a more user friendly website with additional resources, better tools, and a new visual design. By working together in the spirit of cooperation, county government leaders and staff continually strive to serve the public in the best way possible. We continue to work to plan and provide vision for the county’s future and collaborate as a team to insure our diverse environment remains a wonderful place to call home.

Just in time for spring cleaning, the Will County Land Use Department’s Resource Recovery and Energy Division will host a trio of one-day residential household hazardous waste collections.

The first, part of Recyclepalooza, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at Joliet Junior College, 2015 Houbolt Road.

The Gallery was designed in response to discussions with businesses and workers looking for a way to keep resumes of job seekers from becoming buried on large sites, said Scott Kettman, Business Services/Special Projects Supervisor for WSD.
